The water is shallow, making it ideal for families with children and for anyone who likes to take their time before getting in. Large green lawns surround the beach and are the perfect place to sunbathe.  <\/p>\n<p>There is also a football pitch, a zip line, and a playground for younger children on site. At reception you\u2019ll find a detailed map of excellent cycling routes, ranging from a few kilometres up to 80 km with detours. You\u2019ll cycle on both asphalt and gravel roads with little traffic (except for the main road to Laxhall). There are lovely, swim-friendly beaches here.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Bromm\u00f6<\/strong> is on the other side of Tors\u00f6, and we recommend taking the ferry over with your bike, or renting one on the island. Hiking is also great here. Bromm\u00f6 is a car-free island with easy gravel roads and trails. You can take local buses to the ferry terminal. If you\u2019re curious about the town\u2019s older history, you can join historical walking tours in the Old Town (see times at the tourist office). <\/p>\n<p>From Sunds\u00f6rns Camping, it&#8217;s only 13.7 km away, making it a great day trip for the whole family. If you want a more action-packed day trip, we recommend Skara Sommarland, Scandinavia\u2019s largest water park with play areas and rides. For more nature experiences, our \u201cmountain\u201d Kinnekulle is a must. It was built between 1810 and 1832 to connect the seas in the east and west. In the latter part of the 1800s it was an important transport route, but when rail traffic took off, the G\u00f6ta Canal lost its former glory. Instead, the canal became one of Sweden\u2019s most visited tourist attractions.   <\/p>\n<p>Visit Sj\u00f6torp, one of the locks along the G\u00f6ta Canal. Watch the boats pass through the lock, visit the small boathouses nearby, and enjoy a tasty ice cream.
