Jonas Persson, a 65-year-old retiree, has lived at the campsite for three winters in a row and cannot imagine moving back to the city.

– Living in the middle of nature with birdsong and all the changes in weather gives me peace of mind without feeling lonely. At Sundsörn, I have everything I need, and I can always get in touch with the friendly staff who work here. Johan Abrahamsson, who runs Sundsörns Camping with his wife Malin, says that about 10% of their guests are regulars throughout the year and have been for several years.

– We are very happy to have so many returning guests, and those who live here year-round create a sense of security and a family atmosphere, as they are very keen on ensuring it’s a calm and safe place for everyone to enjoy.
