Reception

At the reception, we help with bookings, answer guests’ questions, and provide tips on current activities held both on and off the campsite. Here you can rent bed sheets and pillowcases for 100 SEK/set. If you wish to cycle or hike in Sundsörn or on the surrounding islands, we have good maps to give out.

From May 1st to August 31st, the reception is staffed between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM. At other times, we can be reached by phone at 073 23 23 488 or via the contact form 24/7. During the rest of the year, staff are on-site as needed but can always be reached by phone.

Service Buildings

There are two service buildings on the campsite which house kitchens/sinks, clean showers (eight in total), toilets, two washing machines, and a tumble dryer that can be booked on-site. All our service facilities are accessible for people with disabilities.

We are very committed to maintaining good hygiene and therefore have a no-shoes policy in both the service buildings and Restaurant Brygghuset.

During peak season, staff are constantly moving around the area to maintain a high level of cleaning and service. Facilities are cleaned at least four times a day.

Shop & Café

There is a convenience store located in the same building as the reception, restaurant, and café, offering a small selection of groceries and necessities. Here you can find items like BBQ sausages and charcoal. The shop’s opening hours during peak season are between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

In the café, you can buy sweets, ice cream, and drinks while enjoying the beautiful view of the water. In Restaurant Brygghuset, you can eat delicious, well-prepared food and order take-away if you wish. We also offer a party venue and conferences with food and service.

Marina

If you want to take the water route to Sundsörn, you can moor at the marina, which is beautifully located by the Torsö Bridge and Restaurant Brygghuset. North of the marina lies Sjötorp, and to the south is Mariestad. There are a total of 45 permanent berths, 10 of which are guest spots, and a proper boat ramp. Toilets are located inside the restaurant and showers are in the service buildings at the campsite, about 450 meters away. Mooring in the marina is free if you eat at the restaurant; otherwise, it costs 100 SEK/day.

    House Rules

    Many families with children and elderly people come to Sundsörn’s camping, appreciating the familiar and friendly atmosphere. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and we strictly insist on respecting one another, for example by not playing music after 10:00 PM. To keep public areas clean and tidy, there is a no-shoes policy in the service buildings and the restaurant.

    All motorhomes and caravans must be inspected and gas-certified to stay on the grounds.
